These icons ("the Icons") are free to download and use under the terms below.

1. Personal Use (No Attribution Required)

You may use the Icons for free, without attribution, in personal and non-commercial projects, for example:

  • personal websites and blogs that do not earn income
  • school, university and learning projects
  • presentations, documents and designs for yourself
  • hobby apps and open-source projects that are not sold

2. Commercial Use (Attribution Required)

You may also use the Icons in commercial projects, free of charge, as long as you give clear credit to HandyIcons. Commercial use includes websites, apps, products, marketing, advertising, client work, and anything that earns money directly or indirectly.

Attribution must:

  • name "HandyIcons" and link to https://handyicons.com
  • be placed where users can reasonably see it, such as a footer, an "About" or "Credits" page, an app's settings or credits screen, or the product description or documentation

For printed or packaged goods where a link is not possible, write "Icons by HandyIcons (handyicons.com)" in the credits or packaging.

If you need to use the Icons commercially without attribution, contact us for a separate written permission.

3. What You May Do

  • Use, copy and modify the Icons (change colour, size, stroke, or combine them with other graphics).
  • Use them in client work, as long as the credit in section 2 is provided.

4. What You May Not Do

  • Sell, resell, sublicense or redistribute the Icons, modified or not, as stand-alone icons or as part of an icon pack, icon font, template of icons, stock library, or any product whose main value is the Icons themselves.
  • Re-upload the Icons to another icon or stock website, marketplace, or CDN for others to download.
  • Claim that you created the Icons, or imply that HandyIcons endorses you or your product.
  • Use the Icons in a logo, trademark or brand mark, or register them as a design, trademark or other intellectual property.
  • Use the Icons in anything unlawful, hateful, defamatory or sexually explicit.

5. Ownership

HandyIcons keeps all copyright and other rights in the Icons. This license gives you permission to use them; it does not transfer ownership.

6. No Warranty and Limit of Liability

THE ICONS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL HANDYICONS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE USE OF THE ICONS.

7. Termination

If you break these terms, your permission to use the Icons ends automatically. You must then stop using them and remove them from your projects. Copies already used lawfully before the breach, such as in products shipped with proper credit, are not affected.

8. Changes

We may update this license for icons published in the future. The version that applied when you downloaded an icon continues to apply to that download.
